Rachel Atkins is currently working towards her B.F.A in Photography at Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, LA. Atkins grew up in North Louisiana, but has traveled around the world through the International Mission Board (IMB) as a photographer and a non-profit volunteer for the past several years to France and the Philippines, as well as New Zealand, Australia, and Mexico for other community focused traveling. Growing up she always had a love for drawing and painting, and during her studies she has discovered a passion for analogue photography as well as alternative processing, continually experimenting with new techniques, though she continues to utilize the theoretical nature of digital to create and expand upon fictional narratives.
